Essentially, a converted T5 or T6 campervan is a two in one vehicle and not only will it be your accommodation, but it will also get you from A to B too. You won’t have to take another car away with you if you want to explore the local area whilst you’re camping somewhere new and heading out for the day in your camper couldn’t be more convenient. 

Unlike a tent that will suffer a lot of wear and tear over time causing it to decrease significantly in value, when you take good care of a Volkswagen camper, you may even be able to make money on it should you ever wish to sell it. Converted campervans hold their value really well and there is always a market for them, so you won’t ever struggle to sell one. 

All in all, it is fair to say that if you’re contemplating whether you should purchase a tent or a camper for your staycations this year, it is fair to say that the campervan is a much better choice.
